Ecopol, 10 strips. Treatment and prevention of varroosis, acarapidosis and wax moth. Application and dosage: colonies are treated in spring (after the first cleansing flight) and in the summer-autumn period (after honey extraction). In a 10-12 frame hive, 2 strips are placed: one between frames 3 and 4, the other between frames 7 and 8. In a small colony (up to 6 frames), a swarm or a nucleus, 1 strip is enough, placed in the center of the brood nest between frames 3 and 4. The strip is fixed with a paper clip through which a peg (a piece of wood or thin wire) is inserted; the strip is fixed vertically in the center of the brood nest and remains in the hive for 3 to 30 days, depending on colony strength and the amount of capped brood.
