Ecostop is a product for the prevention and treatment of varroosis in bees. It is a specially developed biological product: a convenient, easy-to-use, well-tolerated and highly effective pharmaceutical. It contains thymol and mint, which are used to fight varroosis in bee colonies. Ecostop Instructions for use Name of the veterinary medicinal product: Composition: Each plate contains: Thymol (Thymol) 5.0 g Peppermint oil (Oleum Menthae piperitae) 2.0 g Excipients up to 50.0 g Mechanism of action: the active substances of Ecostop, thymol and peppermint oil, are released by evaporation and have a prolonged therapeutic effect. The vapors of thymol and peppermint oil have an acaricidal action against the causative agent of varroosis in bees, the Varroa destructor mite. Fumigation with these substances not only kills the parasites but also prolongs the vitality of the treated bees. Thymol and peppermint oil also have bactericidal properties, which significantly reduces microbial contamination of bee colonies. Ecostop plates are an ecological product specially developed in a medicinal form. It is convenient, easy to apply, well tolerated by bees and highly effective against varroosis. Administration and dosage: Dosage: use 1 to 3 Ecostop plates in spring and autumn, depending on colony strength and the severity of the infestation. One plate is effective for 45 days. Directions for use: open the plate immediately before use and place it on top of the frames in the brood nest of the hive body. Storage conditions: store in a dry, well-ventilated room at 5 °C to 30 °C, protected from direct sunlight, away from heat sources and out of reach of children. Use of the product is not recommended at air temperatures above +33 °C. No special safety precautions are required for the disposal of unused product and/or its waste.
