Solar wax melter, used for melting raw wax. It is a wooden box with a sloped lid. Sunlight passes through the glass and heats the raw wax to 75-95°C. The heat melts the wax, which flows down the sloped surface of the tin tray into a trough.
The high-temperature wax melter "Melisa" (VVT "Melisa") is designed for dry processing of raw wax in beekeeping.
